North Jakarta Administration is coordinating with Jakarta Water Resources Dept. to repair leaked sheet piles at RT 03/03 Penjaringan Urban Village, Monday (11/6).

North Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Junaedi said, to repair quickly, his side directly pumps puddles through three mobile pump units and covers leaks with sandbags.

"We're coordinating with Jakarta Water Resources Dept. for long-term handling. The old and the new sheet piles must be connected to make it stronger," he stated, Tuesday (11/7).

According to him, there is a gap of about 60-80 centimeters between the old and the new sheet piles. If it is connected, it can be thicker and used as a walking access for fishermen or residents .

"There are seen many fishing boats are leaning behind sheet pile as high as three meters. To get the boats, locals install a emergency stair using blocks and bamboo.
